Astrazeneca Hope Lodge - American Cancer Society

This project is an adaptive reuse of the former Vincent Memorial Hospital built in 1906 on a very restricted urban site in Jamaica Plain, MA. Prior to new construction the site was an urban wasteland of asphalt with virtually no green space. The results are a plan that increases overall green space and enhances the landscape along the Emerald Necklace. Coordination and approvals with Boston Parks Commission, Emerald Necklace Conservancy and Jamaica Plan Neighborhood Association were integral to making this a successful project.
