Doyle Conservation Center

This project for The Trustees of Reservations is a five-acre office, conference and educational facility focused on land conservation and ecology. Storm water mitigation is achieved through a series of wet meadows, which filter runoff and create a diverse meadow habitat before the overflow reaches the existing wetlands. The planting design is based on reestablishing several native plant communities. Fieldstone walls of local fieldstone define the building landscape; large slabs of bluestone pave the central courtyard gathering area and highlight entrances; logs from Red Pine felled on site are used as light poles for the site lights.

This project achieved LEED Gold certification.
